Textual organization:

Behind any written text there is a communicative purpose. Generally speaking, it may be said that a text is a compound of written information. But, did it have any special organisation?

Sometimes is hard to precise which the message a text is trying to communicate is. What could be the cause? Sometimes it could be found in the linguistic structure of the text. It may be full of grammatical or orthographic mistakes that make their reading a hard experience. Another reason may be the lack or excess of information.

In its most basic organisation a text may be considered a compound of ideas, which establish relations between them. Given that the relations are clearly established -subordination, coordination, opposition, addition...- and there are no contradiction between them; the main task writing a text is choosing the right organisation for them.

In the case of a blog article, the ideal is a short text, whit the main ideas in the top. The reason is simple: blogs are located in the internet, a media riddled with an overflowing stream of stimulus. So, the articles should immediately catch the attention of the reader. Also, they should be short, considering this attention may be easily removed.

The best way to achieve this is using the inverted pyramid organisation of ideas. It refers to an organisation in which the main ideas are in the top of the text. As we keep reading, the number and importance of the ideas decrease. If we have to represent it graphically, it would be like an inverted pyramid.

About the first consideration, the clasification of blogs appears quite wide. To demarcate the clasification we could speak about: blogs of professions, blogs of hobbies, and blogs of individuals.
The first tipe refers exacltly to what its name sujest. They are blogs focused on different kinds of Works: they are blogs about lawyers, blogs about economy...
The second kind refers to very different kinds of thematics. The third refers to persons who make themselves the main theme of their blog, whether because they are famous or because they are very original.
Regarding the intentio a blog may be didactic, may have an economic purpose (publicity for instance), an aim of providing information, a ludic purpose, or it may be simply a way of expression of its creator -and even being considered a work of art-. A blog does not have to had a single intention, in fact the most common it is that there were many interests involved in its creation.
The format a blog use determinate if it gives preference to certain supports. A blog may predilec pictures over other contents, consist in a collection of films or be mainly a compound of writen texts. It also could be a merge of all this kind of formats.
